Use this XTension to resize an item or items and its content(s). Scaling can be done either as a percentage of the current size or by an absolute amount. Proportional or anamorphic scaling is possible using ScaleIt, and the actual scaling process is extremely fast.
Adding a tool to the XPress tool palette, this XTension allows you to drag the handles of the selected item(s) to interactively set the scale amount. All of the optional settings below are available to you via the main ScaleIt dialog or the XPress Preferences menu. Features include:
• Scale Physical Box - this option allows you to set whether or not you want the box itself to be scaled. This option will only affect the physical size of the item or container.
• Scale Graphics - this option lets you choose whether or not you want the content of a picture box to be scaled (even a SXetch Pad box).
• Scale Frame Weight - use this option to decide whether or not you want the frame around a box to be scaled.
• Scale Line Weight - this option is for setting whether or not you want the width of a line to be scaled.
• Scale Runaround Outset - choose to set or not to set the item's runaround to be affected.
• Scale Text Inset - set whether or not to scale an item's inset and Baseline inset.
• Scale Text Box Gutter - text box gutter amount is scaled should you select this option.
• Scale Text - choosing Scale Text, allows the content of text boxes to be scaled. There are three sub options in this feature: Allow Horizontal Scale, Scale Paragraph Attributes, and Scale Entire Text Chain.
• Scale Content of Empty Boxes - this option allows for the automatic scaling
